About

AtheroPrev is a web portal dedicated to disseminating knowledge regarding strategies for risk reduction of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Our mission is to empower clinicians with accessible information regarding the current standard of care for ASCVD risk reduction, encompassing both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches aimed at lowering LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and Lp(a) levels. The core of the portal is the interactive tool for ASCVD risk reduction, which is currently under construction.

Our initiative is fueled by a dedicated team of volunteers passionate about improving patient outcomes in ASCVD. We invite healthcare professionals from all disciplines to join us on this journey towards better understanding and managing ASCVD risk. Together, we can work towards a future where every patient receives personalized and effective care to mitigate the burden of cardiovascular disease.
